For all too many brides the choice of a simple wedding dress is an economic reality. Getting married is a costly business and, much as we would like to, we can't always afford that dress of our dreams. Or can we?

The secret is to start with a simple dress which best suits your figure and which accentuates your best features and hides the bits you don't want people to see. If you have beautiful legs then why not wear a dress with a short skirt. If your arms are your best feature then what's wrong with a sleeveless dress. Is there any real reason today to walk down the aisle looking like a meringue or trusted up like a turkey?
If you would choose to go out to dinner is a backless dress, or with a low neckline that shows off a little cleavage, then why shouldn't this style of dress also be suitable for your wedding?
Once you've found a dress that suits your figure there are a variety of things that you can do to personalize the dress and to make it very much your own. You might for example add some beading or some lace to it. You could also add such things as bows or silk flowers. The possibilities are endless and are really only limited by your imagination.
Don't forget too that you can further enhance the effect of your wedding dress by the addition of various accessories including jewelry, a hairpiece and even decorations for your shoes.

The careful choice of a dress to suite your figure combined with your imagination and a little sewing can easily and cheaply create a truly stunning dress that you will be more than happy to wear down the aisle
