Trained in Japan, where he learned kaiseki technique, JoeKurauchi embarked on a worldwide culinary tour, eating and cooking in 120countries, and working in such far-flung kitchens as El Bulli in Spain, the FatDuck in London, Stella Maris in Paris, and Morimoto in Philadelphia, Bombey,India & NYC. While Joe made his debut at Bistro Les Minots the last weekof July, we right away took advantage of his presence to make some changes toour menus. A better quality and consistency of our food is what we thrive for.Among the new comers, three new sandwiches, “Le Marocain” with spicy lambsausages, “Le Normand” with ham & melted brie cheese, and finally“L’Atlantic” with deep fried monkfish over coleslaw in a wasabi sauzan sauce.We also adjusted prices and quantity of existing dishes while modifyinggarnishes to adapt to the ever coming summer. Another Great Deal that we are now offering for the summeris the addition of a dessert to our $19.95 Dinner Prix Fixe. This 3 course mealis now available 7 days a week from 5 to 7 pm.
