Five Interesting Coffee Related Inventions
Probably, the majority of people cannot imagine their life without coffee as far as consuming of this drink has become a natural habit practically for everyone. The first coffee analogue appeared in 1300 as a decoction made from roasted berries, crushed in a mortar and pestle and the powder being placed in boiling water. Apparently, the fact that a first reference of coffee was much earlier (in 900) goes without saying. However, those were the times, when no patents or property rights were acknowledged; therefore, it is interesting what coffee inventions became admirable and much appreciated by coffee-lovers nowadays.
1.First and foremost, appearance of

s should be underlined, the establishment of which slightly occurred from Middle East to Europe and United States during 17th century. For instance, the first coffee house is opened in Venice in 1645, than it was noticed in England in 1652, in France – 1671, in Germany – 1679, in the USA (Boston) – 1689.
2.The first
coffee apparatus
was patented in 1704: it was a machine for roasting coffee, probably the first to use coal for commercial roasting. The Englishman Richard Bull registered his patent for a coffee roaster with a self-contained roaster bin, chimney, and external heating. Among other patent-holders, related to coffee machines, it is interesting to state: Richard Dearman, who was granted an English patent for a new method of making mills for grinding coffee in 1779; Sr. Thomas Bruff, a holder of the first United States patent for an improved coffee-grinding mill (1798); Charles Wyatt with the patent on an apparatus for distilling coffee (1802), James Henckel, who patented a coffee dryer in 1806; Alexander Duncan Moore for obtaining a patent on a mill for grinding and pounding coffee in 1813; Nathan Reed received a patent on a coffee huller in 1822; in 1825 the first coffee pot was invented by Lewis Martelley (USA), etc.
3.It is now people are introduced to various types of coffee, which preserve different aromas and components. The first to announce of

4.Starbucks, the most worldwide distributed coffee serving company, is a holder of holds approximately 120 patents and trademarks. Moreover, some of them are used by their customers constantly like Starbucks
